Your story, wherever it unfolds

Capturing the essence of your day

You've chosen a place that means something. A stone farmhouse in Provence. A château overlooking the Loire. A ceremony on the cliffs of the Atlantic coast. Or perhaps somewhere far beyond France: a Tuscan vineyard, a Greek island, a Scottish estate. Wherever you say your vows, your wedding film should be as singular as the place you've chosen.

I'm a destination wedding videographer based in Nantes, on the west coast of France. I travel across the country and beyond to create films with a cinematic, documentary approach. No staging, no posing: just the real moments that make your day yours. The morning laughter during preparations. Your father's expression when he first sees you. The first dance that goes on a little too long because neither of you wants it to end.

Working with international couples is something I genuinely love. The mix of languages at dinner, the cultural traditions woven into the day, the friends who've crossed half the world to be there. These details give a destination wedding its texture, and they deserve a filmmaker who notices them.

Getting married in France

Why France looks so beautiful on film

France has a way of turning a wedding into something timeless. The light here is unlike anywhere else: soft and golden along the Atlantic, warm and honeyed in the south, dramatic and shifting in Brittany. The architecture tells stories before a single word is spoken: medieval abbeys, Renaissance châteaux, coastal manors with slate roofs and wild gardens.

I know these landscapes intimately. The Loire Valley with its tuffeau stone châteaux and vineyards. The Breton coast, where granite cliffs meet the sea and the light changes by the hour. Provence, with its lavender fields and ochre villages. Normandy, where apple orchards and half-timbered manors create a soft, pastoral beauty. And Paris, where Haussmann balconies and hidden courtyards turn every corner into a film set.

Each region has its own rhythm, its own palette, its own soul. And because I've filmed in every one of them, I know how to let the place speak in your film without ever overshadowing you.

My approach

A timeless film, not a recording

01

Organic storytelling

No script, no staging. I follow your day as it unfolds, from the morning laughter to the first light of the party. The edit follows the rhythm of your emotions, not a template.

02

Cinematic image & sound

Shot on a Sony FX3 with cinema lenses. Your vows and speeches captured with wireless microphones. Frame-by-frame colour grading. Drone footage where regulations allow. Your film looks and sounds like a film.

03

Absolute discretion

My couples forget I'm there, and that's the greatest compliment. I blend into your day with discreet equipment and a documentary approach. Your guests stay themselves. That's where the most beautiful moments are born.

What couples say

In their words

On the day, his presence was absolutely discreet, which allowed us and our guests to forget the camera and remain completely natural. That's what makes his work so precious, he captures knowing glances and bursts of laughter without ever breaking the intimacy of the moment.

Marie & Dorian / September 2025, Quimper

Our parents watch the film every Christmas. It's become our tradition. The autumn light in the vineyards, the colours of the leaves, the coolness of the tuffeau cave where we danced until dawn. Romain told me the film made him notice things he hadn't seen that day. Looks from our loved ones. Half-hidden smiles. Held-back tears.

Pauline & Romain / September 2025, Wine estate, Saumur

Our children aren't born yet, but their story is already there, in this film. The moment Antoine takes my hand on the beach, my sister's laughter during her speech, the evening light over the bay. We watch it together, often, and every time it's like going back. Mickaël knew how to disappear so he could capture everything.

Laura & Antoine / August 2025, Private villa, La Baule

To guarantee cinematic quality and artisan care for every film, I only accept 25 weddings per season.

Your questions

Destination wedding FAQ

Do you travel for weddings abroad?

Yes, I travel across Europe and beyond to film destination weddings. I've worked in all kinds of settings: from countryside estates to seaside venues. Travel and accommodation costs are discussed transparently from our very first conversation. I handle all the logistics so you don't have to worry about a thing.

How much does a destination wedding videographer cost?

My collections start at €1,790. For destination weddings, travel and accommodation are added transparently, often as a flat fee with no surprises. The total often remains competitive compared to local videographers at your venue, with the added benefit of a cinematic approach and bilingual communication.

Do you speak English?

Yes, I'm fluent in English and accustomed to working with international couples, bilingual ceremonies and multicultural celebrations. All communication, from the first call to final delivery, can be in English or French, whichever you prefer.

Can you film a wedding in France for international couples?

Absolutely, it's one of my specialities. Many international couples choose France for its châteaux, vineyards and coastal landscapes. I know the country intimately and can help with venue-specific logistics. I'm used to working alongside international wedding planners and photographers.

How far in advance should we book?

For a destination wedding, I recommend booking 12 to 18 months ahead, especially for the June to September season. Once we've had our first conversation and agreed on the details, a 30% deposit secures your date. The sooner you get in touch, the more flexibility we'll have.

When will we receive our wedding film?

Your full film is delivered within 8 to 12 weeks after your wedding. Every edit is handcrafted: frame by frame, sound by sound.

Can you coordinate with our wedding planner and photographer?

Of course. I regularly work with international wedding planners, photographers and other vendors. As a former wedding photographer myself, I know how to share the space seamlessly. I'm happy to join prep calls and coordinate the timeline in advance.

Is drone footage available for destination weddings?

Yes. I'm a certified drone pilot and bring my equipment to every destination wedding where regulations allow. For venues with flight restrictions, I research the rules beforehand and let you know what's possible. Drone footage is included from the Signature collection.
